Mountain City Elementary has compiled a comprehensive list of online and printable questions for Holes at their site.

Before students take a test, they might want to review using these online questions from an award-winning ThinkQuest project, The Hole Truth (and nothing but the truth).

Scholastic books has a Parent Guide to the novel, Holes by Louis Sachar.  The questions are a great way to start a discussion at home. 

Louis Sachar answers questions submitted by children to Scholastic News Online.  He answers questions about the setting, plot of the novel, and where he got his ideas from.

Holes Comprehension Companion from the Resource Room was created by Susan Jones.  Her goal is to teach comprehension using a variety of activities.  She has created several activities for each chapter.  The activities include answering questions that pertain to the following:  setting, inference, theme, quotes, conflict etc.  She includes a Learning Log which is an optional activity.
